Steven Homer Brown

Steven H. Brown, 66, of Clearfield, passed peacefully on April 1, 2026, surrounded by his family.

Born on November 13, 1959, in Elmira, New York, he was the son of James and Barbara Brown.

Steven worked at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center until his retirement. He enjoyed spending time with his family and going for car rides—simple moments that brought him great happiness.

He is survived by his father, James Brown of Curwensville; his brother, James Brown Jr. of Harrisburg; and his sisters, Mary Peters and Debra Collins of Clearfield, and Jeanne Brown of Curwensville. He is also survived by his nephews and niece: David Peters of Clearfield, Jackie Wallace and Brooks Collins of Curwensville, and Shane Boal of Clearfield; as well as his great-nephews and niece, Jayden Hamilton, Brady Collins, and Natalie Collins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Brown, and his brother, Robert Brown.

In honor of Steven’s wishes, there will be no services.
