Sue M. Houser

Sue M. Houser, 94, passed away on April 1, 2026, at the Ridgeview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born August 15, 1931, in Clearfield, the daughter of Andrew Mollura and Domenica (Staffa) Mollura.

Sue graduated from Clearfield High School in 1950 and then wed Ellis W. Houser on November 23, 1950.

She retired from the Clearfield Municipal Authority after many years as a bookkeeper and later as an office manager. She was a former member of St John's Lutheran Church, Clearfield.

Sue is survived by her daughter, Patricia Harper and husband Lewis of Clearfield; two grandchildren, Andrew Harper and Kristin Harper of Corning, NY; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis W. Houser on May 25, 2005. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Dominic, Nicholas, Margaret, Peter, Paul, Mary, Andrew, and Sam.

Honoring Sue's wishes, there will be no public services.

Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.

The family suggests memorial contributions can be made to the Clearfield County SPCA, 275 21st St., Clearfield, PA 16830.
