Theodore 'Ted' Rowles

Theodore Allen 'Ted' Rowles, 77, passed away on August 12, 2025, at his home.

He was born April 5, 1948, the son of Theodore V. Rowles and Lois (Ruffner).

Ted was a lifetime member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 812, and was a member of the John Lewis Shade American Legion Post #6.

Mr. Rowles served with the U.S. Army during Vietnam from February 1969 - December 1969.

After Ted's military service, he worked in the brickyard at Harbison Walker before working as a plumber for Hoyt Plumbing and Heating. He then owned and operated the former Village Inn for over 20 years.

Ted was an avid hunter and also enjoyed camping.

He is survived by his companion of 35 years, Brenda Coulter; children, Theodore Allen 'Ted' Rowles and wife Lori, Karen Williams and husband Jeff, Alicia Webster and husband Shawn, and Garret Rowles and longtime companion Miranda; grandchildren, Jeffrey Williams, Torrey Williams, Anna Rowles, Hunter Rowles, Brinleigh Nevling, and Elaina Rowles; a great-grandson, Logan Williams; two brothers, Richard Rowles, and John Rowles; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Ted was preceded in death by daughter, Laura Rowles; and a dear aunt and uncle who helped raise him, Gussie and Lawrence Flood.

A memorial service will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 11 AM.

A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10-11 AM.
