Vera Snyder, 85, of Curwensville died on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at the Penn Highlands DuBois.
She was born on December 19, 1935 in Shiloh, a daughter of the late John and Evelyn (Graham) English.
Vera retired from Curwensville School District as a custodian. She was a homemaker and enjoyed canning, cooking, and baking.
She was a great mother and grandmother, and will be greatly missed by her family.
She is survived by her children Mick English and wife Annie, Doug Wilson and wife Mary, Randy Wilson and wife Carol, Ronda Lansberry and husband Chip, Steve Snyder, Scott Snyder, and Donald Snyder, Jr.; seven grandchildren, Jason, Michael, Adam, Todd, Amy, Lacy, and Greg; several great-grandchildren; two brothers, Hamer English and wife Jean, and Sam English and wife Patty; and a sister, Elizabeth Kephart.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Snyder. She was also preceded in death by five brothers, Raymond English, Walter English, Gordon English, Blair English, and Obe C. English.
Funeral services will be held at the Dale United Methodist Church, Woodland on Thursday January 14, 2021 at 12 PM with Rev. Robert Ludrowsky officiating. Interment will follow in the Dale Cemetery, Woodland.
Friends will be received at the church on Thursday from 11 AM until the time of services.
Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield is in charge of the arrangements.
