William O'Dell

William H. 'Bud' O'Dell, 94, of Clearfield died on January 11, 2025, at Colonial Courtyard, Clearfield.

He was born September 8, 1930, the son of Harry J. and Beatrice (Dunlap) O'Dell.

Bill worked as Physical Therapy Assistant at the Clearfield Hospital for many years. He was a member of the Clearfield Presbyterian Church.

Mr. O'Dell served with the U.S Army and U.S. Air Force where he would retire as a Tech Sergeant after 21 years of service.

He is survived by his wife Charity 'Chatty' (Rodkey) O'Dell whom he wed February 27, 1971.

Bud was the last surviving member of his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Thomas Jack O'Dell, Andrew O'Dell, and Harry 'Butch' O'Dell Jr.; and six sisters, Peggy O'Dell Snell, Grace O'Dell Cole, Barbara Jane O'Dell Hoover, Dorothy Jane O'Dell Lytle, Mary Ann O'Dell Cutler, and Donna O'Dell Lytle.

A funeral service will be held at the Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Clearfield on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 2 PM with Judi Bookhamer officiating.

A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 12 - 2 PM.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to The Presbyterian Church, 119 N. Second St., Clearfield, PA 16830.
