Obituary for Richard O. Stewart

Richard O.  Stewart
Richard O. Stewart , 65, of Fleetwood died on Monday, February 24, 2014 at the St. Joseph Hospital, Reading.

He was born on January 19, 1949 in Clearfield, a son of the late Owen and Dorothy Stewart and Clarabell (Johnson) Stewart.

Mr. Stewart retired as a Charter Bus Driver from the Bieber Bus Co., Kutztown. He had previously been employed by the Mansun Bus Co., Bellefonte. He was an avid sports fan, enjoyed hunting and liked horses.
He was Christian by faith. A U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Stewart served during Vietnam War.

He is survived by his five children, Tracey Arturo and husband Roger and their seven children, Camille Brown and her four children, Robert Brown and wife Desiree, Michelle Morgan and her two children and five grandchildren, and Virgil Morgan and his one child; a sister, Frances Henry; and three brothers, Ronald 'Fish' Stewart, Dennis 'Bibby' Stewart of Curwensville and Donald 'Bear' Stewart of Curwensville. Richard is also survived by his second wife, Shirley Stewart, and third wife, Carolyn Brown and numerous other family members.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Patricia Stewart.

Funeral services will be held at the Curwensville United Methodist Church, Curwensville on Saturday at 11 AM with Rev. Dr. Robert S. Ludrowsky officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Curwensville.

Military honors will be accorded at cemetery by the members of the Clearfield VFW and American Legion Posts' Honor Guards.

Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville on Friday from 2 PM - 4 PM and 5 PM - 8 PM and at church on Saturday from 10 AM - 11 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Curwensville Baseball Booster Club, 606 Susquehanna Avenue, Curwensville.
