You will always be remembered as my sweet, smiling cousin who loved her Grammy Anderson's spaghetti and how you and I laughed sitting in the back seat as Aunt Loretta drove us to the Blue Kow. You have and always will be a part of my heart.
I'm so sorry to hear about Kelly. I didn't know her well. I knew Loretta before retirement. We were pen pals. Kelly was her #1 pride & joy. Loretta & Matt, especially, you're in my prayers.
Words cannot express how deeply saddened we are, when we found out yesterday of Kelly's passing. Our prayers will be with you, Matt and Loretta. Cherish every memory big and small, because those are what we take with us. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.
Matt, what do you say to someone who has lost their soul mate and companion? Words can never wipe away the pain and sorrow when someone is grieving. Kelly was a wonderful person and each day you should feel blessed that God gave you the opportunity to share a wonderful life with her although it ended much too early. But, it was time for her to go back home and there will always be the same question, why?
On a tombstone we see a beginning birth date and an end death date but what matters the most is that dash in between those dates. How did that person live that dash, the years between birth and death. Were they kind, did they make you laugh, did they comfort you when times were hard and did they love unconditionally. Kelly spent those dash years wisely and did all of those things. Someday your souls will reconnect once again. But, until that time, cherish all the wonderful memories, talk about her often to others, laugh, cry, get angry and at the end of each day, remember, all that matters the most is love. Do that well and often and that will be the best tribute to her life. I do believe this is the way she would want you to spend the rest of your life on earth. God bless you, Matt. My heart aches for your loss. The neighborhood will never be quite the same without Kelly walking her dog down the street. I shall miss that.
For you & Kelly, I would like to quote a phrase from Rumi "Goodbyes are only for those who love with their eyes. Because for those who love with heart and soul there is no such thing as separation.”
God Bless you at this difficult time.
we will miss you so much even though we haven't seen each other in a while you were always in my heart. Matt and Loretta (and Rudy), I'm so sorry for your loss. I loved working with Kelly. We always had lots of laughter and that's what I'll remember about her.
