Melinda was more than a friend to me, she was more than a coworker, more than like a sister, and more than a mother figure. Melinda took care of me, always watching out for me, always had my back -protecting me. I loved her very much, and no one will ever take away the portion of my heart that she took up. A genuine person, who put everyone before herself, listened intently, and deserved the world all the while expecting nothing.
