You had gone to Kentucky to teach Bible School to the poor and I was still at Notre Dame when we had talked about collecting clothes to send to the poor in Kentucky at the Mission in Vanceburg, Ky. After collecting a roomful of clothes it was decided to transport all those clothes to the Mission by vans which we did and after that we decided to go back to Ky each year for a week of Mission at the little Church on the hill outside Vanceburg. After a few years it was decided to start a place in our own Diocese. With the help of a lot other people we decided to buy the farm in Frenchville, which became known as Young People Who Care and the rest is history.
Therese, you were always the visionary or idea person, that inspired so many others to follow your ideas. God will bless you abundantly for all the ways you've touched people. Go in Peace.
