Rick Kendrick
Gwen, Ruth, Dave, and Families,
I`m sorry to hear of the passing of your Mother. I am also sorry that I can`t get down to tell you in person what a great person she was. I have known her for nearly 45 years and always enjoyed our visits and conversations. I first got to know her because of the connection between her and my parents, mostly through Community Concerts. When I first went out on my own I adopted one of her extra-toed kittens, starting a life long connection with sharing my home with cats, many of which have had the extra toes.....I seem to find them a lot. I have also done work for her over the years. She was a great lover of animals and people and shared greatly with both. She had a great love for all of you and expressed that to others. She had a great sense of humor and I loved to see her smile and hear her laugh. I know she was fighting against a lot of health issues the past few years, and life was probably very hard, but she never talked negatively about it. We can all learn from positive minded people such as herself. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
It was a privilege to know her, and I will remember her with a smile on my face as I remember her smile(just like in the picture).
Sincerely, Rick Kendrick and Family
