When someone you love dies, you never quite get over it. You just slowly learn how to go on without them. But always keeping them tucked safely in your heart.
When I was little I knew Scott as the guy that worked a Segers Garage(when Dad would stop for gas) in 1996 we moved on the hill and became neighbors. I can say I would not have wanted anyone else as a neighbor. From his helping hand to his smile, his laugh and his love for music. He always said I may not sound good, but I love to sing.....and that he did. We had the privilege many days and night listening to him play the guitar and sing with his visiting friends and yes we joined in at times. He inspired both of our children with his music and treated them as his own. Thank you for that my friend. You are now resting in peace without pain. You will forever be in our hearts and be part of our hill.
Scott was a fantastic neighbor to us. He did anything and everything for anyone. His love for music was so inspirational. It was never an odd day if you could hear his music playing, and you always knew he was just sitting on his sun porch enjoy every second of it. He is now in a better place and is no longer suffering.
