Obituary for Coral M. Bailey
Coral M. Bailey, 88, of Clearfield died on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at home.
She was born on August 31, 1928 in Camden, NJ a daughter of the late Ray and Hazel (Conklin) Berger.
Mrs. Bailey was employed by Sid's Six Pack, Clearfield for 15 years before retiring in 1990.
She was a member of the West Side Church of Christ and the Clearfield Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1785 Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by four children, Cindy Thompson and husband William of Munson, Alvin Bailey and wife Teresa of VA, Glenn Bailey of VA, Robert Bailey of Clearfield; five grandchildren, Heather Bailey, Elizabeth Dozer, William Thompson, Alvin Bailey, Jr. and Jeffrey Thompson; six great grandchildren; and her brother, Norman Berger of AL.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Bailey on July 8, 1970 and whom she wed December 13, 1947 in Newportville. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ray Berger and Robert Lawyer.
Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Saturday at 11 AM with Pastor Isaiah Krause officiating.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 9-11 AM .
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society, 26 S. Second Street, Clearfield or to the American Heart Association, 501 Howard Ave., Suite D, Altoona, PA 16601.
