To the entire Collin's family-
I am so very sorry to hear the loss of your loved one Colin. He was always such a nice good man to me. I use to manage the Point Uni-Mart/Choice, many years ago (for 23yrs). Colin & all the rest of the law enforcement always took a break there during their shifts. It had became a joke, that if one needs to find a police officer to just call the point. Colin had known my entire family, and another joke was always, my elderly mother (that passed last year), had always loved listening to the scanner for many, many years instead of watching Tv. She would always say, Colin is such a hard worker because he is the only one you ever hear on the scanner. Indeed, he was a very hard worker! Approximately 15yrs ago, Colin had to call me at work, to come to my brothers home in Hyde (where myself & entire family were raised), My brother at the age of 42 had passed away in his home unexpectedly & Colin was the one on duty, that got into his house for us & was there for my family during this difficult time. Colin left a lot of great memories & he will never be forgotten. Even though, I haven't seen him in years, his past co-workers would keep me updated on his health. Even though, it is so hard to let go, please know, he is now no longer suffering or in any kind of pain. Sending thoughts & prayers to all of you! He definitely was one of the best!
