Joan B. Neamy, 79, of Clearfield died on Monday, February 9, 2015 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.

She was born on April 30, 1935 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late John and Iva (Rolley) Bell.

Mrs. Neamy was employed at CNB Bank as a teller and then a branch manager.
She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield.


She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Marsh and husband Joe of Woodland; a granddaughter, Ciara Marsh; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl E. Neamy on May 3, 2012 and whom she wed February 14, 1981 in Winchester, VA. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Duane K. Rowles in 1972; and three brothers, Jack, Robert and Roger Bell.

Mass of Christian burial will be said at the St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield on Thursday at 10 AM with Father Brandon Kleckner as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.

Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Wednesday from 6-8 PM and on Thursday from 9-9:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's' Association, 1128 State Street, Suite 301, Erie, PA, or to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, 275 21st Street, Clearfield, PA.
