Obituary for Gloria L. Martell (Hunt)

Gloria L.  Martell (Hunt)
Gloria L. Martell, 90, of Clearfield died on Monday, January 15, 2018 at Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.

She was born on August 12, 1927 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late William and Gussie (Parks) Hunt.

Mrs. Martell was a homemaker. She enjoyed solving crossword puzzles and watching game shows on the television. She especially enjoyed her family and attending all of the many family gatherings.
She was a member of Flegal Road Church of Christ, Clearfield

She is survived by her husband, Calvin Martell; three children, Sharon Picard of Clearfield, David Martell Sr. of Clearfield and Diana Shaw and husband David of Curwensville; eight grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; numerous great great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Norma Ireland of Clearfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two children; Donna Stiner and Duane Martell; a great grandson, Jeffrey Martell Jr.; four sisters, Fay Litzinger, Goldie Gillen, Dorothy Fetzer and Verlie Fetters; and four brothers, Kenneth Britton, Richard Britton, Farn Hunt and John Hunt.

Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Friday at 10 AM with Mr. Raymond Stiner officiating. Interment will be in the Gillingham Cemetery, Frenchville.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-7 PM and Friday from 9-10 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, 113 North Third Street, Clearfield, PA 16830.
