Obituary

Barbara L. 'Bobbie' Taylor, 82, of Curwensville died on Sunday, August 2, 2020 at her home.

She was born on March 29, 1938 in Niagara Falls, NY, a daughter of the late Emory and Dorothy (Crabtree) Becton.

Mrs. Taylor was a graduate of a business college in Phoenix, AZ. After moving to PA, she was employed at several different businesses including the former Super Duper, JoAnn Fabrics and Goodman's Foodliner in Curwensville. Mrs. Taylor was an expert seamstress and very good with crafts. She was also a gifted artist.

She is survived by her husband, Gene Taylor; four children, Debra Taylor of Curwensville, Lisa Rhode and husband Al of Phoenix, AZ, Lora Parrish and husband Paul of Cresson, and Robert Taylor and wife Jessica of Monongahela; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and two sisters, Dolores Brewster of Pheonix, AZ and Anne Marie Al-Zamil of Saudi Arabia.

In honor of Mrs. Taylor's wishes, there will be no public services held.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society, 108R North Second Street, Suite 1B, Clearfield, PA 16830.

Beardsley Funeral Home and Crematory, Curwensville is in charge of arrangements.

Dear Family of Bobbie.......I hope it helps to know how much Bobbie was loved, admired for her talents and her loyal friendship. She was amazing. I will forever hold her close in my heart. She always made me smile. Keep all of her memories close to your hearts and know she isn’t far away. Gentle hugs to you all. And Bobbie, thank you for all you gave to all of us. RIP dear friend, you will be missed.

Bobbie was one of my first and best friend’s after moving to Curwensville, due to our daughter’s friendship since kindergarten Bobbie and I became very close friends that lasted till now, she had so much talent, there wasn’t anything she could not do. R.I.P. Bobbie
