Edie Brown

Shirley, John and family, I am so sorry to learn of the passing of such a wonderful, loving and caring lady. My earliest memories of Mid were at St. Johns Lutheran Church when I was just a kid. She and my mother were good friends. I remember them planning church functions together. Mid was one of the adults who would always take time to talk with the younger group at the church. A lot of adults would simply nod or maybe say hello, but Mid took the time to talk with us. When your seven or eight, that meant a lot. When any members of my family passed away, Mid was one of the first to offer any help. She was a wonderful role model and great friend. Women like Mid are rare. I'm proud to have called her my friend.
